The last week has been filled with heavy sleep and lots of coffee. Each night for the last few days I have gone out about two hours before bed (about ten) and played either ultimate freebie or sand volleyball, and I come back to the dorm hot and tired. This is a large contributor to my quickness in which I fall asleep. I have noticed on the days I am not as active or I don't workout, I do not sleep well at all. I toss and turn all night. I guess that's my bodies way of rewarding me for being active! Another contributor to the higher quality of sleep is that I recently bought a fan. I love the cold, and without being able to control the temperature of the room myself, the fan gives me some control of the temperature. Also the repetitive noise of the fan lulls me to sleep and gives some background noise to the room. There was only one night I did not sleep well, it was after my roommate and I watched Dead Silence- a gross and disturbing horror movie. I must admit it was not my brightest idea, and I kept seeing the monster when I closed my eyes. All in all, this week I have learned two things: One, I cannot watch anything remotely scary before bed, and two- working out may seem like a pain in the moment, but when you get to bed, your body will thank you with some awesome SWS (slow wave sleep) and a better figure (hopefully!).
Below is a picture of the not so lovely image that kept me up two nights ago ( I cannot look at dolls the same way again)
