Hi Bloggers,
The last week has been pretty rough in terms of sleep. I have been up worrying about my mock trial starting tomorrow, and that I might mess the whole thing up. I have had trouble falling asleep due to this. I have also been staying up late on top of that doing homework, so after staying up way past my recommended "bed time" I haven't been able to fall asleep either. This could very well be due to my increased coffee intake in order to try to stay awake. So I have been drinking it late at night not taking into account its half life and still having the caffeine running through me late into the morning. Hopefully after this week and my Sociology test and this bibliography I can be at ease and sleep again!

That does sound like a taxing week! Be confident in your work, and you won't have to worry about it when you are trying to sleep! I would definitely stay away from that late night caffeine intake though...
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you haven't been getting much sleep recently due to stress and other circumstances, but I suggest trying your hand at Black Tea... Black tea has roughly 30%-60% the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee (depending on the brand/flavor). Even though the half life of caffeine is still the same amount of time span (5 hours), there is just enough caffeine to keep you going, but not keep you up all night long! If you need help finding a flavor of Black tea, I'm sure I can help you!(:
